Wednesday, May 17 Bpeace covers Rwanda

Marla, Loretta, Manny, Sabra and Susan, our interpreter, visited Pascasie Lyabagiye. She is one of 18 distributors in Kigali for the Bralirwa brewery. Over the past few years, Pascasie has successfully grown her business along with her husband and is considered to be an excellent client. Bralirwa is consolidating its distributors; next year they will only work with 10. In order to continue her business, Pascasie must build a larger depot in order to remain a client. The cost of building the depot and increasing her capacity to maintain the growth is approximately $250,000. She does not have the guarantee required to get a loan of this size and must find an investor or partner for her business or someone who can help her mediate with the banks. Bpeace will talk with its various contacts in Kigali to see what we can do for Pascasie at this time.

I hope we'll be able to assist them in securing the funding. It's great to hear from the Team. I was beginning to have withdrawal symptoms! Love, to all, especially my sister. Miss you Anne, love Golde.

It would be great if we could get an American microbrewer or distributor interested in investing. It's amazing how much the team is accomplishing so effectively. You guys are wonderful and I bet it's fun learning about all these different businesses. Miss you all.

It is amazing how much BPeace is doing around the world. I am still in Iran with my family but have the infused breath and energy of Kabul in me. You guys are doing great.

It is completely fascinating to gleem similarities to Kabul, but yet, quite obviously, the worlds are so very different. What's key is our mission is one and the same....Hope the entire team is doing well, staying healthy and my sincere thanks for keeping us informed and inspired.

With love,
Susan

Hi Team:

It's Sunday morning here, and I am sure that you have already put in a full day's work! Looks like we have some incredible associates with great businesses - looking forward to hearing more when you get back. Also looks like the weather is cooperating with you as well. Hey Marla, any chance of bringing some of that beer back (would taste real good after a long hike in Vermont!!)
